I’ve been playing around more through my Makeup Geek attention shadows recently and I shaped this appears using the Foiled vision shadow in Flame Thrower as the center piece. I am managing this smoky copper attention through an element well developed lip using Colorbar Yielding Touch lipstick in Matina. Pink is the ultimate color if you’re looking to tap into everything girlish and womanly. It had been used liberally in the spring/ summer season 2018 makeup styles, to provide a soft wash of color only on the eye sometimes, and all the way up to the temples occasionally. At Badgley Mischka, we saw a distinctive combination that we’ll admit is just a little harder to accomplish.
Models wore a soft, peachy-pink eyeshadow with warm red lips, likely motivated by ’60s styles, but with a twist. There is also a touch of pink eyeshadow discovered at Marco de Vincenzo, Alberto Zambelli, Sophia Webster, and quite a few more. There is certainly something extremely high fashion about a matte wash of brown or taupe within the lids. Within the spring 2018 makeup trends, brown eyeshadow went to great lengths to define and darken the eye slightly, by means of softer smokey eyes so that as a crease accent.
Pat McGrath, one of the biggest trendsetters in the makeup world, used brown eyeshadow at both the Givenchy and Versace shows. At Givenchy, it was all about a warm wash of color on the outer part of the lid and crease. The models on the Salvatore Ferragamo runway had dewy skin and peach lips complemented by a wash of brown shadow that was soft enough to not overwhelm any other parts of the facial skin. At Adam, brownish eyeshadow got on the ’70s vibe – it was applied all over the optical attention in a smokey fashion and drew all the true way up to the brow.
It was a beautiful, beachy, retro look that is perfect for sizzling summer nights. Champagne eyeshadow is always good to have in the arsenal, since it is a nearly universally flattering color that is ideal for creating sophisticated and softly attractive makeup looks. Its use this season makes it one of the loveliest spring/ summer 2018 makeup tendencies.
Champagne eyeshadow on the lid, along with gentle lips and some highlighter, was a perfect choice for the Michael Costello show, where models used light and romantic night dresses. For the Alexander Wang show, Diane Kendal created a soft look with minimal makeup, and a wash of warm golden shadow on the lid just, with mascara but no eyeliner.

The blue eyeshadow we noticed in the springtime/ summer months 2018 beauty tendencies was shiny and electric, with some green tints to reveal a sense of exotic oceans.
